Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR)
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room (OR) is responsible for assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients before, during, and after surgery, and maintaining a sterile operating room environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Preparing operating rooms for surgery.
2. Assisting surgeons during procedures by handing them instruments and supplies.
3. Monitoring patients' vital signs and assisting with anesthesia.
4. Providing post-operative care and monitoring patients' recovery.
5. Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
6. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
7. Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Valid RN license.
2. BLS and ACLS certification.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
7. Knowledge of surgical procedures and equipment.
